A little about me

Based in Cheshire, i am a hard working, ambitious and passionate musician, experienced in both studio work and live performing.

As a session guitarist I have been involved with arranging, composing, and recording with other artists, as well as producing my own music.

Fluent in varying styles and genres; rock, pop, blues, rockabilly, and funk, to name a few, if you require a guitarist then dont hesitate to get in touch.

Bio

About.....

My father was a session musician in his hey day, and after putting his Les Paul in my hand, you would have thought the feel of the guitar and enthusiasm of my father, you would have thought id have hit the ground running..... It wasnt until a year or so later, on a murky night my Father took me to the Manchester Apollo, telling me theres a guitarist i might want to see.An hour and a half later, after seeing Steve Lukather rip into solo after solo, each one different to the last all fuelled full of Rock, Bebop, Jazz Funk and Blues, i have never seen something so magical in my life, and ever since then,i have been hooked on the guitar.I am influenced by a variety of musicians and bands, but to name a few: Jimi Hendrix, Steve Lukather, Jeff Beck, Robben Ford, Doyle Bramhall 2, Derek Trucks, BB KIng, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Brian Setzer.Steeley Dan, Tower of power, Jimi Hendrix trio, The Average White band, The Allman Brothers band along with a whole host of other bands.Born in 1986, by the time i was 13, i had been playing for a few years. I was self taught but started to get serious, studying favourite musicians and taking lessons, i then turned fulltime at the age of 17.I worked in a local, highly reputable recording studio which introduced me to the world of sessioning, and opened my eyes and ears to another side of music.After a stint at a performing arts university, i joined up with a few bands ranging from Jazz and Blues, to a Funk partyband. I learnt the ropes playing with older musicians, studiowise and performing live.Im currently working with an Internation Theatre based company putting on productions and concerts, noticeably widely acclaimed MJ UK - Uk's number one Michael Jackson act, and the UK's number one Elvis act.As well as sessioning, i also have my own funk/rock/blues project on the go at the moment.For further details, see the Music page, and for further info please feel free to get in touch.
